Aging Services of Minnesota is the largest association of organizations serving Minnesota seniors.

Our mission is to create the future of older adult services through excellence and innovation.

Today our membership encompasses over 1,000 organizations statewide. Together with more than 50,000 caregivers, our members serve 63,000 older adults every day in all of the places they call home, including home care and services, independent senior housing, assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities.

Care Center Occupancy Remains Low in Second Half of 2013

The Long Term Care Imperative recently analyzed care center occupancy survey results through the end of calendar year 2013 and found that the occupancy percentage for all care centers was below 91 percent statewide for every quarter of last year.

CMS Announces 15% Antipsychotic Reduction Goal Met

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced that certified nursing facilities have met the national goal of a 15 percent reduction in the use of antipsychotic medications.
