Aging Services of Minnesota is the largest association of organizations serving Minnesota seniors.

Our mission is to create the future of older adult services through excellence and innovation.

Today our membership encompasses over 1,000 organizations statewide. Together with more than 50,000 caregivers, our members serve 63,000 older adults every day in all of the places they call home, including home care and services, independent senior housing, assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities.

Moratorium Exceptions Process Application Materials Available

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) recently released the application materials for this year’s round of the nursing facility moratorium exceptions process.

Minnesota Achieves Milestone in Reducing Inappropriate Use of Antipsychotic Medications

Minnesota care centers have exceeded a national goal in reducing the use of inappropriate antipsychotic medications for long-stay residents, achieving a 15.7 percent reduction in first quarter 2014. The national goal is 15 percent.
