Aging Services of Minnesota is the largest association of organizations serving Minnesota seniors.

Our mission is to create the future of older adult services through excellence and innovation.

Today our membership encompasses over 1,000 organizations statewide. Together with more than 50,000 caregivers, our members serve 63,000 older adults every day in all of the places they call home, including home care and services, independent senior housing, assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities.

If You Aren’t Tuned Into the CMS HCBS Setting Rule, You Should Be

This summer has been packed with lots of policy activity affecting a variety of provider groups in Minnesota, so you may have missed our updates regarding Minnesota’s work to implement the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Home and Community-Based Settings Rule. Minnesota’s implementation of this rule may mean that some providers may no longer qualify for payment under Medicaid waivers. Hopefully that last sentence captured your attention. DHS Posts Bulletins on New Level of Care Standards

The Minnesota Department of Human Services recently posted a pair of bulletins on the Jan.1, 2015 implementation of the new nursing facility Level of Care standards.
