Aging Services of Minnesota is the largest association of organizations serving Minnesota seniors.

Our mission is to create the future of older adult services through excellence and innovation.

Today our membership encompasses over 1,000 organizations statewide. Together with more than 50,000 caregivers, our members serve 63,000 older adults every day in all of the places they call home, including home care and services, independent senior housing, assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities.

DHS Provides Update on Reform 2020, HCBS Report Card and Other Initiatives

The Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Partners Panel received updates from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) last week on Reform 2020, the Critical Access Study and Gaps Analysis, the HCBS Report Card and the federal rule on HCBS community settings. There was also a brief presentation on Minnesota’s Testing Experience and Functional Tools in Community-Based Long Term Services and Supports (TEFT) planning and demonstration grant.

Now Available: 2014 Legislative Survey Data

The Long Term Care Imperative has recently completed the analysis of the 2014 legislative survey, which provides a rich source of information on trends impacting senior housing providers and care centers. Aging Services of Minnesota members can access the full results of those surveys in the Current Surveys/Results section of the Knowledge Center.
