Governance
Aging Services of Minnesota's Board of Directors sets the strategic direction for the Association and is made up of 28 members (five officers, seven district directors, nine directors at large, and seven AAHSA delegates). Aging Services of Minnesota's governance structure includes bylaws that detail membership, election of board members and other aspects of the association's organization.
Aging Services Group undertakes business initiatives that serve member needs as well as help to support the operation of Aging Services. The primary initiative at this time is Alliance Purchasing, a group purchasing organization for products and services needed by older adult services providers. The 2010 Aging Services Group/Alliance Purchasing/ASG Insurance Solutions Board of Directors/Governors is made up of 10 members.
