The Minnesota Department of Health will have its statewide conference call on the changes in survey guidance on advance directives, end of life care, and feeding tubes on January 16 from 1:00 to 2:30. The conference call will consist of a panel including an ombudsman, a provider attorney, a medical director, a facility quality expert, and a survey director.

At a meeting yesterday afternoon, the Minnesota Department of Health met with provider representatives to begin discussions of license fees for the new home care licenses that will be proposed in 2013 legislation – the Basic license and the Comprehensive license.
